Annual Meeting
in Tanzania
The 2015 Annual Meeting unfolded in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania on 23 November 2015. Participants were warmly welcomed by Mr Yogesh Manek, Chairman and CEO of MAC Group. The importance of strengthening economic ties across Asia and Africa was emphasised as ASEACC's Co-Chairman (Southeast Asia) Mr S.S. Teo highlighted the significant addition of a new member to ASEACC, MMC Group, one of the largest business conglomerates in Malaysia. Thereafter, a cocktail reception was held, where participants fostered connections transcending geographical boundaries amidst the convivial atmosphere.
The following day was marked by meetings with the Tanzania Investment Centre (TIC) as well as Exim Bank (Tanzania). These discussions formed part of efforts to strengthen the foundations of business relations between Africa and Asia, highlighting collaboration and investment opportunities.
