Namibia in Singapore: Visit of the Minister of Mines & Energy and the delegation of NAMDIA

On 29 September 2022, we had the pleasure to welcome HE Tom Alweendo, Minister of Mines & Energy of Namibia, and the delegation of NAMDIA, the Namibian diamond dealer. Hosted by our Co-Chairman and Executive Chairman of Pacific International Lines (PIL), Mr. SS Teo, the networking dinner aimed to foster relationships in Singapore around the trade of Namibian diamonds internationally.
Tanzania Singapore Business Network 2021

On 18 November 2021, our valued member Pacific International Lines (PIL) had the opportunity to host the visit of H.E. Dr Philip Mpango, Vice President of the United Republic of Tanzania for the Tanzania Singapore Business Networking Event.

This event, supported by us (ASEACC) as well as Singapore Business Federation (SBF), was exclusive to the top corporate leaders in Singapore that have existing trade relations, investments and businesses in Africa.

Singapore - Angola Business Roundtable

The Singapore – Angola Business Roundtable organised by Singapore Business Federation (SBF), in partnership with Enterprise Singapore (ESG) and Africa South East Asia Chamber of Commerce (ASEACC), was held on 8 May 2018. The Roundtable was chaired by Mr. S.S. Teo, Chairman of SBF and Co-Chairman of ASEACC, while the Angola Government delegation was led by H.E. Manuel Domingos Augusto, Angola Minister of External Relations.
Bringing Francophone Africa to the National University of Singapore

Co-organised by Africa South East Asia Chamber of Commerce (ASEACC) and National University of Singapore (NUS), a panel discussion about France and Africa was held at NUS on January 16, 2017. The panellists were Ms Estelle Yousouffa, independent journalist at French television channel “France 2”, Mr Kelvin Tan, Secretary-General of ASEACC and Professor Daniel Chan, NUS French lecturer.
2016 ASEACC Annual General Meeting in Shanghai

On 22 August 2016, the leadership and members of the Africa South East Asia Chamber of Commerce (ASEACC) convened at Shanghai, for its Annual General Meeting (AGM). Supported by Pacific International Lines (PIL), the event was co-chaired by Mr. S.S. Teo, Managing Director of PIL Group, and Mr. Jean Kacou Diagou, CEO of Groupe NSIA.
2016 MTI African Journalist Visit Programme

As part of the annual African Journalist Visit Programme organized by the Singapore Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) in 2016, the Africa-South East Asia Chamber of Commerce (ASEACC) hosted a media brief session introducing the formation and activities of the Chamber and its exclusive member companies to a group of 8 journalists from various leading African business publications. Representatives from Pacific International Lines (PIL) and International Enterprise (IE) Singapore also attended the session.
Olam Book Launch – “Amazing Africa”

ASEACC Media Brief with African Journalists

As part of the African Journalist Visit Programme 2014 organized by the Singapore Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI), the Africa-South East Asia Chamber of Commerce (ASEACC) hosted a media brief session with the group of journalists from six influential African business publications, with a combined circulation of more than 400,000 copies annually. Officials from the MTI and International Enterprise (IE) Singapore also attended the media brief session
