Chairman and co-founder of “La Fondation Coeur de Grâce”, a foundation established in 2013 which is dedicated to raising awareness on cardiovascular diseases in Africa.
Mory Diané is the founder and CEO of TASSEC Investment Holdings, based in Abidjan (Côte d’Ivoire) which specialises in several sectors such as logistics, customs security, transportation, Oil & Gas, pharmaceutical and real estate through its subsidiaries Scanning Systems, Yrom Transport & Logistics, Aqua Holding, Saran Pharma and Stonebridge. He is also the CEO and founder of Scanning Systems SA, an Ivorian based company specializing in Intra African trade facilitation, logistics cargo and security.
The Group employs over one hundred people in its offices in Côte d'Ivoire, Burkina Faso, Togo, Mali, Guinea Conakry and South Africa.
Mr. Diané has more than 30 years of experience in international trade, trade facilitation, transportation, logistics, and border security and has held senior management positions for the past 25 years.
He has extensive experience in dealing with regional institutions in Africa, as well as profound knowledge of public-private sector relations. He has successfully negotiated the implementation and management of complex service agreements in Africa, including the successful implementation of several PPP programs in the WAEMU and ECOWAS zones.
Mr. Diané has also forged strategic relationships with international and regional institutions such as the West Africa Trade Hub, the WAEMU Commission, the ECOWAS Commission, the CEMAC Commission, the Africa Finance Corporation, the African Development Bank, Proparco, the African Trade Finance Bank etc. Overall, these relationships have added value to the achievement of common goals in addressing trade and logistics challenges in West Africa.
Based in Côte d'Ivoire for many years but in reality, a citizen of the world, Mr. Diané is fluent in French, English and Malinké (Dioula).
For his contribution to the development of the sub-region, he was made an Officer of the National Order of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire in 2019 and he received the award of the Best Promoter of African Integration in 2016.
